FRESHMAN & SOPHOMORE YEAR PROGRAM

Preparing a foundation for success

Get a head start! We mentor our 9th and 10th-grade students on topics such as transitioning to high school, course planning, leveraging appropriate academic & extracurricular opportunities, networking & building positive relationships with teachers, academic advising support, and summer planning. Using tools such as YouScience or AchieveWorks, we also help our students identify their interests and aptitudes, enabling them to further explore their strengths and passions in meaningful ways. When students are ready, we can also discuss college-related topics, such as visiting colleges or creating an SAT/ACT testing plan.  Sessions with 9th- and 10th-grade students are scheduled as needed, but on average, meetings occur 3-4 times per school year. We’re completely flexible and will 100% customize sessions to a student’s needs and wants.
